Going down the mine combined with gold-washing
Going down the mine of All Saints
Gold and silver have been extracted from this unique mine, located in Hodruša, until 1950 for over 700 years. Every visitor has a chance to feel the magic of the underground. In the tunnel you will learn many interesting things about various methods of mining.
School of gold-washing
If you ever deamt of becoming a gold-miner, we can make your dream come true for a while. You may try the gold-washing on your own in the garden in front of the tunnel. All the gold you pan out will be given to you together with a special certificate at the end of the course, which will take place under the supervision of a skilled instructor. This unusal gold-mining method will surely stay on your mind for a long time.
Mining Klopačka
A walk to a historical center of a small town of Hodruša with a wonderful baroque statue of Immaculata, made in 1765, and a tower of a monument called Klopačka, built in 1521. The oldest monument in town is the Roman Catholic church of St. Nicholas - a late gothic construction of one nave, dated back to the year 1387.

2nd facultative trip
Guided sightseeing of the historical center
Immense wealth of silver in the underground was a cause of establishment and development of this unconvencional city. Today, with its concentration of historical buildings and characteristic mining houses, Banská Štiavnica could boldly comete with historical center of any Austrian or German city. Come over to find out more about local lizards, about why does it always snow on the St. Peter & Paul's Day as well as why does the time pass backwards on the townhall clock.
By a cup of coffee in a lovely café called Divná pani you will listen to the funny and even frightening stories, tales and legends about the town and its dwellers, going around for centuries. Relish the beauty and wonders of this ancient city, breathe in the spirit of rich history and carry home a piece of this charming atmosphere.

3rd facultative trip
Excursion to the surroundgs combined with a cave bath
Excursion to the first Slovak brewery STEIGER (established in 1473)
First beer at the foot of Štiavnica mountains was cooked by the monks over 500 years ago in the village called Vyhne. Since then it has been cooked here almost constantly. During the excursion you can take a look at the main places and stages of classical beer production – like digester house, beerhouse, beer filtering and tapping, etc. You can examine the outcome of this classical technology by final tasting of the beer.
The observatory of Maximilian Hell in Žiar nad Hronom
Acquaint yourself with the solar system while the relaxation program “Earth closely and from afar”, while the music from all continents will free your mind.
Steam bath in the cave of Sklené Teplice
Healing water of 42 C containing lot of calcium and magnesium have a positive effect on motoric and neurological diseases, recovers the formation of cartilage in the whole body and reduces stress.

4th facultative trip
Kremnica - the Golden heart of Slovakia
(the city was established in 1328)
We will show you round the 700-year-old city of Kremnica, famed for gold-mining and mintage. Kremnica is connected with many legends you will get to know. During the program you will solve various assignments, at the end of which you will be able to find the golden key from the city gate. Such a key was given to all famous persons that had visited the city. You will need to examine the castle area, St. Catherine´s church, the Mint and medal museum and the mintage carefully in order to find the golden key. Your searching will be evaluated and awarded on a neat court of the winehouse Biely Bocian (White Stork) under the castle walls.

5th facultative trip
Trip to Bojnice
Spend a day in a pictoresque city of Bojnice,situated in one of the most attractive parts of Slovakia. The castle of count Pallfy, the largest Slovakia´s ZOO garden and a swimming pool are all located on one site, which therefore counts for one of the most visited places in Slovakia, beloved by all children. While staying in Bojnice, do not miss the performance of the falconers AQUILA.

6th facultative trip
Floating the river Hron
Floating the Hron river on rafts, kayaks and kanoes is surely an adventurous enrichment of your summer stay. Hron river is one of the most beautiful locations for rafting. There are restful passages with no or just a weak stream and passages regarding higher attention, where one has to keep a watch of the dangerous stones or the river affluents. We will ensure lending of the vessels, its transport and equipment, an expert guide, picnic, campfire with goulash and story-telling under the ruins of the castle Šášov.
